Teen Assistants
Counselors-in-Training (CITs)
A CIT is 13-15 years old, loves nature and wants to help share nature with younger campers. Because CITs will be providing a valuable service to the camp, their fees will be 1/2 what the campers pay.
Junior Counselors
A Junior Counselor is 16-18 years old. Like CITs, Junior Counselors should have a love of nature and want to work with younger campers. Junior Campers do not pay a camp fee and do not receive payment.
Both CITs and Junior Counselors are expected to attend on the day before camp starts to be trained on basic camp safety and program and to help with setup. During camp, they will assist the adult conuselors with all camp activities. More responsibility will be assigned as maturity is demonstrated.
